The Archer-Western Alberici team was selected by New Orleans Corps of Engineers to provide earth stabilization and rebuild levee sections in New Orleans. To accomplish this, they needed a bidding system where preapproved companies could securely log in, browse bid projects, and submit their proposals. Interface Development When uploading new bid packages, administrators declare an expiration date to represent the deadline for accepting proposals; the system automatically marks bid packages as "closed" when this date is reached. Also, the database keeps a searchable log of companies as they bid on, win, or lose bid packages.
